I really got lucky to lived close “little India” in Singapore. For me, it’s amazing to saw different culture, colorful house, food and people. This is my first time to feel India ( include India accent in English, smell of people and their life) I was enjoy this kind of special and happy about cheaper foods in here.
For many tourists, you should visit famous zoo, building and shopping . For me, that’s boring and disgusting. I prefer meet local people, talk with them and understand their life.
There are so many kind of people and cultures in Singapore. However it looks like no discrimination here. A Singapore lady tell me, actually they have a little bit. And it happen when they study in the university. But when she was child, they used to study with different kind of classmates.
I just stay in here for 4 days. Maybe there are many amazing things wait for me to find it. But I think it touch my heart enough this moment. And I am happy to met some friends here.
In last night, It was nice to stay in the bar with 2 French friends and talk about life, job, pholisphy and be relax until 4am.
Such so nice met a China student that study here show me the museum.
It was funny to met another 2 CS’ers ( One Japanese , one Germanese)and stay in Kuni’s place.
In here, people are friendly. A lady help me to send the message to my friend when I wait for the met for a long time without SIM card. A Philippian guy help me got “ New immigration card”( because I lost it) in Departure Hall and tell bus driver wait for me.
Anyway, I like my trip of here and I enjoy it. Maybe next time when I be here, there still have some amazing things and wait for me to see it.
自己的確是運氣好住在新加坡的小印度區，而我第一次接觸這樣不一樣的文化、繽紛的房子、印度食物以及人們，對我而言是非常新鮮的ㄧ件事，初次感覺印度文化，當然包括難懂的印度腔英文，人們的氣味以及他們的生活，而我享受著這ㄧ切以及在新加坡較為便宜的食物。
有些人說既然到了新加坡就該參觀著名的動物園，以及一些有名的建築物，更不外乎血拼購物。但對我而言，這似乎有點噁心又無聊，還是喜愛接觸在地的人們，跟他們聊天並討論彼此的生活。
在這裡有不同種的人們，但卻似乎沒有明顯感覺到一些種族歧視，一位女士告訴我說事實上還是有存在一點，而在她就讀於大學時期便有感受到一點，只是在她還小的時候，的確是習慣周遭擁有不同種族的同學。
我只待在新加坡四天，也許這裡有許多相當特別的事情等著我去尋找，但我覺得在這短短的期間裡所接觸的事物也足夠觸動到自己，並且我超開心能夠在這裡認識ㄧ些朋友。
在新加坡的最後ㄧ晚，很開心的跟兩個法國朋友在Bar聊天到凌晨四點，而我們竟然可以聊到柏拉圖，哲學，人生，工作…( 我的英文真的進步了lol)
另外，也很開心的和一位來自中國卻在這裡讀書的女大學畢業生共同去美術館晃
非常有趣的在最後ㄧ晚和另外兩個沙發客擠在Kuni的住處，我移動到沙發，德國男睡地板，日本男睡房間
在這裡，人們非常和善。一位女士幫我傳訊息找朋友，因為我沒有SIM card.
當我出境到馬來西亞時，一位菲利賓男生協助我取得新的入境卡（因為我不小心弄丟啦！）還幫我跟巴士司機說明原因讓整車的人等我處理完再離開。
無論如何，我喜歡這個新加坡之旅，也許下次我再來到這裡後，還是會有許多驚奇的事情等著我去感受。
